the alien amongst us
Do you see it? Do you see what is going on around you? Look closely. There are Aliens amongst us. They look just like you and I. It can be your neighbor, your mother, your favorite quarterback, your butcher, the bus driver or even the very one you snuggle up to at night; your four-legged, furry buddy.
If there are signs, is anyone’s guess. Ask the quiet homeless guy that hangs out at the 24-hour convenience store, or the one that sits on the bench in front of your building. They see things. They know who you come home with, what time you leave, when your mail arrives and even birthdays. Offer up a nice hot coffee or a slice of pizza. After gaining their trust, you may gain a new set of eyes on life.
For now, they’re not bothering anyone. Just fitting in and helping to move or stunt society along. It’s anyone’s guess why they are here. The real question is, do you even care with all that is going on with quarantines, lock downs and just trying to make ends meet?
